One of the most influential street artists to emerge from New York, is DAIN. He combines the visual language of graffiti with collaged old portraits of Hollywood glamour stars. His work showcases his colorful and distinct style while creating pieces that reveal very little and leave much to the imagination. His works were exhibited in collectives and solo shows in Paris, Berlin, Rome, Miami and New York City. He also partnered with Coach, and was able to re-imagine their logo with the use of art and graffiti across NYC. His work will be featured in the modelresidence of The Avant and will be available to remain as a permanent fixture in the home.

Emerging New York City street artist, WhIsBe, is known for creating juxtaposition with his whimsical images within an edgier context. In his iconic Vandal Gummy series, WhIsBe places the beloved sugary treat holding a Department of Corrections sign as of it was posing for a mugshot.

The Avant’s landscaped roof top features a 4-foot tall installation of WhIsBe’s Orange Vandal Gummy. The only other public installation of the Vandal Gummy in NYC is currently showcased in the 4 World Trade Center lobby. While his pieces have been featured at Art Basel through Castle Fitzjohns Gallery, Context & Art New York, Art Southampton and MOCO Museum Amsterdam, this will be WhIsBe’s first installation in an NYC residential building.
